AONIU K2 Frequently Asked Questions
What age and rider size is the AONIU K2 suitable for?
What age and rider size is the AONIU K2 suitable for?
The AONIU K2 is designed for children ages 3–12 and supports riders weighing up to 143 lbs. It is best suited for children approximately 2.11 to 4.5 ft tall.
Because children develop at different rates, parents should also consider their child’s height, coordination, balance, and riding experience. Younger or first-time riders should begin in the lowest speed mode and always ride under adult supervision.
Is the AONIU K2 a good first electric dirt bike?
Is the AONIU K2 a good first electric dirt bike?
Yes. The K2 is a great option for young riders learning to ride their first electric dirt bike. Its three adjustable speed modes allow parents to start their child at a slower speed and increase it gradually as the child develops better balance, braking, and steering skills.
First-time riders should practice in a flat, open area away from traffic, pedestrians, steep slopes, water, and other obstacles. A properly fitted helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, gloves, and closed-toe shoes should always be worn.
How fast does the AONIU K2 go?
How fast does the AONIU K2 go?
The AONIU K2 offers three adjustable speed modes:
- Mode 1: up to 3.7 MPH
- Mode 2: up to 7.5 MPH
- Mode 3: up to 9.9 MPH
Parents can select a suitable speed based on their child’s age and riding experience. New riders should begin in Mode 1 and move to a higher mode only after they can start, steer, and stop the bike safely.
Actual riding speed may vary depending on rider weight, battery level, terrain, tire pressure, temperature, and other riding conditions.
How long does it take to charge the AONIU K2?
How long does it take to charge the AONIU K2?
A full charge takes approximately 4 hours. Charging time may vary slightly depending on the remaining battery level and surrounding temperature.
Only use the original AONIU charger supplied with the bike. The bike should be charged indoors in a dry, well-ventilated area away from heat, water, and flammable materials. An adult should connect and disconnect the charger, and the bike should never be ridden while charging.
